Mette Hansgaard´s C.V. 

Mette Hansgaard was born in 1974 in Copenhagen, Denmark. In Nice, France She got her first inspiration in 1987 after a sunstroke. She expresses her ideas through paintings and aquarelles in an abstract-surrealism style. Inspiration is taken from nature and the colours of life and in some paintings the use of symbolism is evident.
Surrealism and abstracts
Mette Hansgaard’s paintings are surreal to an extent but never lose touch with realities of our time. The abstract motifs with which she populates them, are based on love of nature, whose life and complexity she brings to our attention through combinations of simple elements. The mystical aspects of her work are reinforced by her telling use of colour.

Her goal to give positive inspiration to people through her art. She is private educated from the artist Erik Lagoni Jakobsen, Denmark and is also educated art - screenprinter.
